this is what I wore today and I am inordinately proud of myself
(it’s hard to tell, but the shirt is like a deep red/wine color, and the skirt is like aqua)
realized I never actually posted a picture of the new hair
but I redyed it last night to take care of roots that are already coming back
(fast-growing hair is a blessing and a curse)
but though it’s untameable today
it’s red! and I absolutely love it!

HAPPY SATURDAY NIGHT TO MEEEEEEE
well my senior recital was tonight
and it went better than i ever dreamed it could (well, barring a few word slips)
but my roommates were all crying when they saw me afterwards (and presented me with flowers and candy and a card!)
and my voice teacher was super emotional (which is ridiculously rare - he’s 72 and has been teaching most of his life)
and my parents and grandparents and sister came
and everyone ate the cupcakes i made
and i feel so pretty i don’t want to take out my hair and wash my face wahhhhh
once i get the other pictures on my computer, i’ll put one up of my dress - i’m obsessed with it
and then we all came home and drank and played dominoes
tonight was a good night.
a fortune fell out of my sweats when i went to put them on to leave the gym!
