“I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say “Hi.” They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.”—Augusten Burroughs, Running with Scissors | Submitted by: bornonthe17th (via quote-book) (via remakes) (via labellefolie)
“Mom, Listen, I haven’t been together with Topanga for twenty-two years, but we *have* been together for sixteen. ‘Kay, that’s a lot longer than most couples have been together. I mean, when we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together in the park. When we were two, we were best friends, I mean, I, I knew everything about this girl. I knew her favorite color. I knew her favorite food. Then we became six, you know, and Eric made fun of me because it wasn’t cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl, so for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those “the lost years”. Then when I was thirteen, Mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She was always talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. So that’s, that’s what I feel is love, Mom… When I’m better because she’s here… and now she won’t be. So we’re finished.”—Cory Matthews, Boys Meets World (via nordicdeathgoddess) (via n-n-nicky) (via pinstripe) (via latay) (via hannahbanena) (via fyboymeetsworld, becauseitsnotlove-deactivated20)
No way. Tulips are my favorite, too! How did I not know we had this in common?
Probably cause I didn’t decide I had a favorite flower till this year! But yeah, I love them. They’re just perfect and sweet and I love them. =] I love the idea of a bouquet of like two colors of tulips, especially for a wedding, I guess, haha.
“Cute is when your personality shines through your looks. Like, when you see someone’s personality in the way they walk and you just feel like hugging them every time you see them”—Natalie Portman (via stylethroughhereyes)
but I’m glad Alice Ripley left Next to Normal. Her voice is crazy, and I don’t mean in a good way, I mean she just sounds weird to me. She has the strangest vowel shapes I’ve ever heard. She sounds like she’s trying to sing classical vowels in a pop style? I don’t know, I can’t figure out what it is that makes it sound so weird, but whatever it is, it wasn’t there during Side Show.
Also, I love Marin Mazzie and I think she’ll be amazing and she and Jeff Daniely are too cute together and they’ll actually have real husband-wife chemistry and banter going on on stage. I can’t wait to hear some of Marin’s Diana.
